Background
Overview
Coal City University needed a single place for students and staff to do the things that were then handled across paper forms, spreadsheets and email. We built an institutional portal and an online learning platform covering student registration, course management and an online library.
The work included the integration between those parts, so that a student registering for a course appears in the right class list and has access to the right library material without anyone re-entering data.
Delivery included training for the staff who would run the system day to day. Adoption, not launch, was the measure of whether it worked.
